Are the tools really free?
Yes, absolutely. All core tools on AI Tools Kit are free and will remain free. We believe developers should have access to essential utilities without paywalls or hidden costs. Our mission is to democratize AI development tools.
Is my text data stored or sent anywhere?
No. All text processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text never leaves your device. We don't store, log, or transmit any text you enter into our tools. This is a core principle of our design—we respect your privacy.
How accurate are the token counts?
Our token calculator uses official tokenizer libraries where available. For OpenAI models, we use tiktoken. Token counts should match official tokenizers in most cases, but we recommend verifying critical calculations with provider-specific tools, especially for production decisions.
How often is pricing data updated?
We update pricing data regularly as providers announce changes. The last update date is shown on the Pricing tool. If you notice outdated pricing, please let us know immediately at hello@aitoolskit.io and we'll correct it.
Can I use the prompts from the Prompt Library in my projects?
Yes, all prompts in our library are free to use, modify, and incorporate into your projects without attribution required. We share them freely with the developer community.
What is TOON format?
TOON (Token Optimized Object Notation) is a compact alternative to JSON that reduces payload size by up to 50%. It achieves this by using shorter key representations and eliminating redundant syntax. It's particularly useful when sending structured data to AI APIs where every token counts toward your costs.
Do you support [specific model]?
We're constantly adding support for new models as they're released. If your model isn't listed, please contact us at hello@aitoolskit.io and we'll prioritize adding it. We want to support all major AI models.
